One of the most prolific fireworks displays in the country, Regatta proudly presents EQT “Flashes of Freedom” Fireworks Fantasia, Pittsburgh’s Official 4th of July pyro performance.
Choreographed to an eclectic arrangement of music, and dedicated always to the honor of our men and women in uniform [military, fire, police, EMT], the show ranks annually as one of the Top 10 in the nation. Lasting an indellible 24 minutes long and shot from barges anchored in the city’s renowed confluence and against its magnificient skyline, the show has become a staple attraction for hundreds of thousands of spectators year after year.
It’s new, different and done from the rooftop of the city’s largest hotel, Wyndham Grand of Pittsburgh. A prelude show of sorts to our Fireworks Fantasia. This 10-minute pyro spectacle is a more intimate, “close proximity” explosion of light, sparkle and intensity, with rousing music, cascading waterfall type effects, chasing and left/right movements to create kaleidoscopic awe and vivid color brilliance.
Rockets and Colorful Glare—See one of the country’s most prodigious pyrotechnic shows in the nation, EQT “Fireworks Fantasia” and, new this year, the Wyndham Grand “Wonder-Falls of Light,” both produced by one of America’s first families of fireworks, Zambelli.
WPXI–Channel 11 will broadcast the EQT “Flashes of Freedom” Fireworks Fantasia “live,” along with a radio simulcast by KDKA-1020.
